Inland Empire Junior Golf Association brings the excitement of golf to our community.
We offer weekly junior golf clinics, seasonal junior golf camps, and monthly junior golf tournaments! Children will be able to join other juniors to learn and enjoy the game of golf while also learning to compete!
Inland Empire Junior Golf Association (IEJGA) goal and mission is to educate children about golf and valuable life skills as they grow into young adults and to compete in their highest level.
IEJGA was formed in 2016 in order to bring a safe place for healthy competition while teaching the rules and etiquette of golf to juniors in our community.
Inland Empire Junior Golf Association will strive to create an environment that will guide the children to grow into honest, responsible, and educated young adults while having fun and forming friendships with other kids with similar interests.
The game of golf will teach juniors honesty and fairness as well as discipline.
Also, the children are able to meet mentors that can help guide them with the game of golf as well as their other future endeavours.

Eric Yoo grew up near Orange County where he attended Cerritos High School then later went to college at UC Davis where he studied Exercise Biology. Currently, he is the Head Golf Professional at Sierra Lakes Golf Club.
Eric is a Class “A” PGA Golf Professional as well as Level 3 USGTF Teaching Professional. Eric has experienced every level and type of golf, from junior to professional, from casual to competitive. Through his experiences, he became an expert in the field and now incorporates video instruction using the V1 Digital Coaching System and FlightScope. He works with students to develop sound fundamentals of the full swing, short game, putting, mental skill, course play, and more.
Eric wanted to create a Junior Golf Program welcoming all juniors of all levels here in the Inland Empire area. He has a passion for teaching and growing the game of golf. Bringing joy to the juniors and teaching them about not just golf but also about overcoming difficult situations is only one of many we teach here at IEJGA. So we hope to see you guys soon!

Jason Lee grew up in the Inland Empire where he learned the game of golf at a young age from his grandfather. He is a Chaffey High School Alumni where he played high school golf. He later attended both Mount San Antonio College and San Jose State University playing for both golf teams before taking a small hiatus from golf.
During this time, Jason worked in retail management for Starbucks for 10 years before changing careers back to golf instruction, his real passion. Jason now teaches golf instruction full-time at Sierra Lakes golf course and our indoor studio in Claremont. He assists Eric with our PGA Jr. League, helping build capability in junior and adult clients through swing and on-the-course instruction. Jason is enrolled in the PGA associate program working towards becoming a Class “A” PGA Professional, and hopes to further his education in sports psychology as well.
Jonathan Roy grew up in Fontana, CA, where he graduated from Etiwanda High School. There he played varsity golf for three years until he graduated in 2018. Jonathan also competed in some IEJGA tournaments and summer matches and continues to take his own golf lessons to learn more and more about swing mechanics in order to aid his students better and compete in future tournaments. Currently, Jonathan is studying architecture at Cal Poly Pomona College, where he hopes to design for the future! Maybe even a golf course or two along the way.
“I hope to involve more players in this amazing sport of golf and not only show them the great opportunities that can arise, but also the amazing memories that can be made on the course.”
Gregory Ochoa is an alumni of his hometown High School in Rialto, CA where he graduated in 2012. He furthered his education at the Professional Golfers' Career College in Temecula, California graduating in December of 2013 with a degree in Golf Management.
He developed a love for teaching and tournament operations while spending time at PGCC. He was inspired by all of his instructors and seeing how joyful and fulfilling it is for them to see their students grow as players through lessons and competition.
When he's not on a driving range instructing or playing golf somewhere, he loves to spend time with family and friends. He enjoys other sports such as baseball (Go Angels!), hockey (Go Ducks!), basketball (Go Lakers!) and NASCAR racing.
